Thanks Rolf. Couldn't do it without my trusty Tak! Operating at 825mm with the reducer it's a killer!

Great result Marcus

As I suspected the field is size suits this object. Perhaps not as vibrant as I was expecting (not a criticism) but overall a fine image

it does bring a tear to the eye, and a streak of green envy that you have such a beautiful image

Another beautiful image Marcus. The best Rosette of the year. You really are on top of this imaging game.

Thanks Mike - and I always appreciate your feedback mate! I think I know what you mean but striking the balance and avoiding the fluro look was on my mind plus I'm trying (and maybe failing) to be "true to the light". Maybe you're too used to the wild colours of NB! In any case I tweaked it very subtley but doubt there's much more I can do.

Cheers Paul! In times gone by (and still occassionally now ) the Rose was portrayed a bland and almost monochrome red! I think when you take the time, most objects will have a complexity of colour that can be surprising.

Thanks David - appreciate that! Now that you're back online I expect to see some stunners coming out of the Doghouse!

Hey Greg! Thanks mate! My processing workflow was a bit rusty with all this rain but I think I pulled it off. Did you get out on Thurs and Fri nights? First completely clear moonless nights in months!
