Omega Centauri TSA-120

Taken in the early hours from my suburban backyard. I'm not entirely sure about the colour balance. The field stars have good saturation but it's harder to get any colour into the core. There seems to be a faint halo of yellow/brown stars surrounding the core. Not sure if this is a processing problem or just the difference in composition of the cluster with the brightest stars being blue and the dim ones yellow.

Takahashi TSA-120 and FLI Microline 8300 @ -30 (which was pretty good considering it was 27 degrees outside at 4.00am)
LRGB 40,20,20,20

Beaut resolution Graeme

Hmm? Not sure about the browngold envelope, looks liek a processing error to me, might need to try working specifically on that area

Still a nice shot of an amazing cluster.

Mike

Resolution looks good Graeme. Colour balance needs some work I tink, but a nice field of this object.
