IC2944 quickie (told you I would have a go Richardo!)

After seeing Richardo's image of this wonderful object I had to have a go at it. This is 4 15 minute HA shots and 2 5 minute RGB shots binned 2x2.

It does no justice to Richardo's shot which is spectacular but im glad I had a shot at it.

Hi Peter,
this puts things in a little bit of perspective for me...
The blue star in your field is the sucker that's casting blue reflection to my top corner.

This is a good get I'd say and showing some promising detail for the amount of time you spent on it!

What scope did you use for this?

I used the GSO 8 inch F4 reflector, so 800mm FL. I just noticed you are from streaky bay, lovely part of the state. I actually enjoy the blue reflection in your image.
