Mounting a PST on EQ

Hi all

Has anyone here mounted a PST on an EQ mount? I can pick up a cheap EQ1 and wondering if it is easy to attach.

Cheers
Wade

I've used my PST on the HEQ5 mount...
Use a short Vixen dovetail with a countersunk 1/4" screw to hold the PST "black Box"

I did the same on my EQ6, a small vixen dovetail did the trick.

We doubled up and mounted the PST on the top of our portable SW130 which has an EQ2 mount. That way we can have a quick look at the sunspots with the 130mm using a solar filter and then a good look using the PST on the same axis. If we didn't have the 130, then the PST would fit direclty on the EQ2 and the adjustments make it easy to track when polar aligned.
PST was the best buy we ever made ...
