Dynamax 8" SCT or Criterion 8001... shhh, don't say it too loud...

Hi folks,

Looks like I'm a sucker for punishment - I'm after a Dynamax 8" SCT.

The condition isn't critical, as long as there are not bits, pieces, dings, scratches of/on the optics. Dirt on the optics isn't necessarily going to be a deal breaker though.

Any one here on IIS have one, or know of someone who has one and might be interested in selling it?

Cheers,

Mental (quite literally now!!!).

Humour aside, I guess I should say that I am aware of the popular reputation of these SCT's as been poorly made. Yet my seeking one isn't intened as some kind of poor joke. I am genuinely interested in getting my hands on one.

Criterion 8001 OK too

Even the Dynamax' successor, the Criterion 8001, would be welcome.

The Criterion 8001 was the last SCT B&L released in the hope of recovering some market share. Below is picture of one mounted on a Celestron wedge.
