Mushroom Macro

Got Mushrooms popping up here and there through my front lawn. So I thought I'd grab a pic before they got mowed down.

Canon 550D @ ISO 200 Tamron 90mm F2.8 @ F 6.7 1/180 exp.
It was kind of over exposed, so I had to adjust brightness and curves in CS3. No sharpening was done.

This is a 100% crop. The little curl of skin is 6mm in length.

Fascinating shots JJJ

It's interesting to see the surface up close like that.

It looks like the surface of one of Saturn's moons.
