Saturn in fair seeing Jan22UT
Hi. seeing was OK some of the time, but had to discard ~2/3 of images due to local turbulence persisting from 35C+ previous days - so its a bit soft.
RGB, 2 minutes per channel at 30fps (R,G) and 15 fps(B).
thanks for looking. Regards Ray

Hi Ray
That is a super image!
I really like how you can see the planet through the Cassini Division.

Nice job Ray, things are starting to look up regarding the conditions for capturing Saturn and this is a very nice effort.

Really nice detail there Ray.
A great result given the less than ideal conditions. You've got decent brightness in the Crepe ring without saturating anything, and you've clearly got the light band of leftover storm material.

Hi Matt. Thanks, yes the visibility of the planet through the Cassini division and the brightness enhancement of the ring itself is fascinating.
G'day Trevor. Thansk you. the jetstream situation is improving, but baking hot days take their toll.
thanks Ivan. yes, it was nice to get as much detail under the circumstances - but one always hopes for that little bit more...
thanks Rob
thank you Graeme
Hi Paul. thanks very much - I have trouble with colour balance and appreciate the feedback
