I wonder if we can get someone to donate an old van so we can convert it to an IIS-mobile, fully decked out with dome and peir like this one.

good one the ultimate "GEEK MOBILE"

had a "KOMBI" back in the 80's went well
the floor is low you could cut out panels for a tripod to sit on the ground
put a dome on top and volia

Come on Houghy, I thought I did pretty good with the shadows.
But wouldn't it look good up there for real though. The house sort of lends itself to being an observatory. Or a windmill, whatever.
