First image in quite a while

It's been almost three months since I've been able to get any new data but the weather gods finally relinquished their grip for a couple of nights. This image is NGC 2626, a rarely imaged object in Vela. I only know of two images of it. Steve Juchnowski did a nice one a while back and Tom Davis has a very deep wide field version.

I'll probably go back and play with this one as I'm not totally happy with it but at least it's something new.

Cheers

Steve

A great shot Steve. Love it! I like the way you get these unusual objects which is not that easy to do.

Greg.

Great to see a new and unusual target, Steve. Unfortunately the weather has been rubbish up here as well...

Thanks Carl, Trevor, Rick, Greg and Louie. This may be the last RC image for a while as I intend to start using my FSQ106ED soon.

Cheers

Steve
