clear view of jupiter

Just a question, I am on the sunshine coast and the last couple of nights am trying to gat a clear view of jupiter but it always has a un-clear and slight star off it, could this be too much ice crystals in the sky or is my tele out. My lenses appear to be clean and aligned.
