Yowie!!

My new Christmas present. In the lounge-room and fresh out of the bag, then airing out in action in the field.

Like it, Like it....
Although you'd better watch out for Tim the Yowie Man.
If he spots you in that it'll be on for young and old.

Ken.

You'd fit in well here in Kilcoy, home of the Yowie. LOLOL

We even have a wooden statue of one in Yowie Park.
Some of the local puritans cut his willy off though, poor fella.
Maybe not a good idea if you wear the outfit up here.

I'm no expert, but to me it looks like that camo is much more effective in the field than the lounge room.

Hmm, I think it might look a little out of place in the Roma Street Parklands in the Brisbane CBD!

Very impressive Baz, I look forward to the close ups now you can sneak up on the wildlife. Is it reasonably lightweight and rustle free?

Cheers

Dennis

Troy, the photo in the lounge room is just a picture of a sofa. Can you see something else in the room?

Petra, it's called a ghillie suit or yowie suit and snipers use them for hiding in foliage or grass to shoot people. The great thing is you can also use it on animals to a certain degree, plus if other hikers and tourists don't see you, they won't walk up to ask what you are doing and scare your subject off.

The trick is to find a spot and keep still. I have to wash it in a special soap that has no UV brighteners in it, plus roll around in some dirt, grass or even some animal poo to mask the artificial scents.

JJJ, I'll keep that in mind!

Baz.
