PHD and QHY5 - set up question

Hi,

Sounds silly... but I want to make sure!

When setting up a QHY5 to autoguide in a piggybacked 80mm. Can/do I plug the camera to the mount (in the socket marked "autoguider") and the camera to the PC?

Then in PHD, do I select mount "on camera"? Or "Ascom" since it is a Celestron CGEM mount?

The disk that came with my scope was broken, so I have never controlled the mount from the PC and don't have the means. So I hope the QHY5 can control it with me needing to control the mount from the PC...

yes - with the right cable

on camera, assuming you used the camera to mount cable

download the QHY software from http://qhyccd.com/download.html and the Celestron from http://www.celestron.com/c3/support3/index.php
