Friendly machinist in Sydney?
OK, it's time I got back to my project on my dob. But to do so, I need the help of a machinist with the right gear. I need some bits and pieces to finish it.
Alan was a great help on this project and previous ones, but he's in Melbourne and I'm now in Sydney. So I'm looking for a local helpful machinist - hopefully an IIS member with a passion for telescopes and a workshop full of lathes, drill presses, band saws, milling machines, taps and dies etc!
Happy to cover costs and pay a "hobby" rate for someone's time.
