Temporary Internet Files

Hi All,

Just wanted to add this as I commonly get asked this question and its easy fixed.......Just Note before I say anything...you don't need your temporary internet files..you can delete them along with your cookies....it wont affect your computer in anyway but if you do delete Cookies you will have to re-enter your password for sites you need to login for the first time.....

Has anyone had problems saving files as a JPEG off webpages..it only gives you a Gif or Bitmap option....their is other benefits but I wont go into all of them.......you will see the difference if this has been a problem for you......all you need to do is go to Tools in your internet Explorer options....scroll down to Internet options......then you will see temporary internet files....with 3 tab buttons....delete cookies...delete Files...settings....to fix the above problem just delete files then ok that again...dont panic wont affect your computer.....if you want you can go into settings and decrease or increase the amount of hard drive space you will allow for this storage.....

BTW you can also delete your cookies...its up to you....I like to do both of these functions once a month.....manualy....

Hope I could help....

P.S...if you do have a lot of hard drive space taken up with Temporary internet Files..it will take a few minutes to delete them all depending on your Computer speed....

Hi, What browser are you using? IE? YUK!!
If you download Firefox from Mozilla,(much safer), you can set it to auto delete your temps and cookies, or you can download and add what they call extensions, to do whatever you like, well almost.
www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/central.html
Use Thunderbird for your email.
