Comet Lovejoy, meteor and animation 26-12-2011

My first view of this comet. Looks like it's faded from earlier sightings, but at least I got to see it. Taken by pointing the camera out the kitchen window.

The comet and meteor frame was taken with a mintron video camera, the colour frame with an old Fuji S5600, 2 stacked 15 seconds exposure.

Ah that's how you avoided the lights. It's quite light polluted from here now. Not good for big faint fuzzies.
