Lx90 and solar scope

Hi, I am considering a solar scope, and want to know if anyone has had permenantly mount one to a LX90? A PST or a solarmax is what I'm thinking about. Is it advisable to do it this way or should I mount it on its own mount?
Thanks

I have my PST mounted on my U2K (in place of the finder) for both Ha and white light observing. No issues at all, just need a little more counterweight, as the PST weighs a lot more than my finder.

Obviously, if you don't have a solar filter for the LX90, you'll have to keep the cap on (and make sure it is very secure).

OIC!
