Jupiter, Iridium 68, and Mira

I guess that this is a solar system image. Went out and caught a flare from Iridium 68 the other night. I took a pretty wide field to take in Jupiter, and it was only when I thought to put in some constellation lines that I realised that I picked up Mira a month and a half past its peak (Deep Sky??).

Anyway I forgot that I had the ICNR turned on when I ran the 4 second exposures, hence the long gap in the Iridium trail... Ah, well

Yeah... Thanks Ray. Better planning might have captured the brightest part of the flare... not too long a gap, better custom colour balance... the list is endless.

Pretty chuffed to have jagged Mira though. I suppose that it is not hard given how bright it is at maximum, just didn't think about it when I took the shots
