IC10 - Starburst Galaxy

New project finished ... one of the galaxies of our local group , IC10 in Cassiopeia.

A irregular dwarf starburst galaxy near the plane of our Milky Way.
A difficult subject to shot. I added some Ha signal at red channel.

Thanks for looking:

What an interesting galaxy Leo, quite similar to Barnards Galaxy, nice technique there to show variations in sharpness to create a feeling of depth.

Lovely job

Nice framing and selection of target to suite your FOV. I love the little Ha filiments floating around in it though. Well done!

A fabulous image Leo and superb processing. Like Mike says you have created a 3D feel of depth to the galaxy area.

Wow, as soon as I saw 'star burst galaxy' I though, straight away... these type galaxies are very faint.... Mike mentioned one our faint ones of this type in Barnard's Galaxy.
The amount of time put into this image Leo has made it a master piece!
As mentioned by all, this image has a lovely depth and just love your stellar profiles.. like the extra effort of adding Ha to enhance the galactic turbulence.. did the trick!
Great job on a super faint galaxy I haven't seen before!

All the best
Rich

I thank you all deeply. I did not expect that you liked so much. It's a beautiful galaxy, difficult to shot but attractive also from a scientific point of view.

Thanks to have seen and commented on my work.

Leo
