Ascom drivers

Hi,

My computer died and had to be rebuilt which means I have to reload everything. I use PHD guiding and when I go to connect to scope icon a message comes up saying "Failed to find ASCOM. Make sure it is installed.

Can some on advise me and point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark. A few variables come into play here. If you are using a camera like a QHY5 you will need to set the mount as on camera rather than as Ascom. This is done in the top menu item "Mount".
If you are using a mount which requires guiding via the ascom mount driver then you may need to use the appropriate ascom driver.
