My attempt at 2005 YU55

Dear All
I was able to take some pretty ordinary images of this asteroid last night (9/11/11) through passing cloud.
I have made an animation of about 21 frames and it can be seen here

I am not very skilled at making these films but you get the idea. Each exposure was 20 sec long through a V filter.
The asteroid moved about 20arcsec in each frame.

Hey that was cool Terry!

Thanks for showing us.
That's the best one i've seen yet.

But how did you get it. I was under the impression that it passed us in daylight hours

I took the images last night. It was pretty close to the moon but not the sun. It had it's closest approach to earth the evening before late in the afternoon.
