Beautiful Beauchamp

Long time since I posted an image here...

The subtly beautiful Beauchamp Falls captured on an overcast winter morning.

I made this image in the Great Otway National Park.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
1.3s f/16 at 24.0mm iso160

Slightly larger version available here.

Your comments, critique, etc., are most welcome.

Another stunner H! Really a beautiful shot.
I wonder how you manage to get those intense yet soft colours? I suppose that's your 'trade secret'

Very nice H! I love the saturation in those greens. Looks like it was taken very early in the morning?

Cheers,
Stephen

The green foliage in this image is amazing H.

I feel cool and refreshed just looking at it.

A great image.

Rolf,

Thanks, mate.

No trade secret at all! The intensity of the colours comes through the use of using a circular polariser to cut out the glare and warm the scene. It also helps to shoot on overcast days, early morning or late evening.

Stephen,

Thanks! From memory, this one was taken mid-morning on a very overcast and misty day.
