That kind of observatory would certainly encourage the neighbors to leave their lights off.

Hi Clive,

I have a neighbour that leaves their back light on all night. Have come to an agreement to replace that light with a sensor light, which I am paying for. Win-win really. I pointed out that leaving the light on all night just allows burglars or prowlers to see what they are doing, and that she could walk out without realising someone is in the back yard. This way, she knows that if the light comes on, someone or something is in the back yard. She also saves on electricity!

Cool name !!! Lair of the Astromancer. Wonder what the neighbours would have to say if that suddenly loomed over the fence. Must be one hell of a pier hidden amongst all that goth stuff.
