Sun 21st Oct

A new toy arrived yesterday... a Lunt Herschel wedge. I'm amazed it didn't rain for the next week.

Judging from first light I must admit I prefer it to Mylar film.

That's lovely and crisp. Love the granulation.

Thanks Al.

I always found granulation hard to capture with mylar. This image was very straight forward, and at a very modest FL (just 780mm). I suspect the system will lend itself well to much higher focal lengths.

Yes a wedge is on my list too. Nice image Peter with interesting plague showing through as well as the granulation.
