I will start this. Last night in Melbourne. Clear sky's, great seeing. First time in ages. Wait till its dark. Focus camera, align target. Get guiding going. Kick off set of 20 8 min exposures. Go inside.
Monitor progress every so often with team viewer. All looks good. Nice images, perfectly round stars. Very excited as its first light with new scope and new mount.
After about 1.5 hours I thought I would start downloading images onto my nas storage device to start processing. Go to directory where images are stored and realise none are there. Forgot to check autosave button in ccdsoft.
Doh

Scream of dismay was heard in next suburb. Oh well I'm sure I'm not alone in these loss of brain activity moments.
Don't know what on earth ccdsoft does not warn. You when you kick of a sequence that autosave is not checked. Just as stupid as me not checking the box.
