15 October 2011 Jupiter

You can dress up a turd but it is still a turd. Average seeing again, with momentary hints to make it worth the effort to stay up.

At least I have the Flea running again. So the extra frames were great to have.

Of interest in this image is small spots in the NNTB and the prominent barges in the NEB. The SEB is full of barges and rifts and looks like it did around 7 years ago.

Couple of weeks and I head to Broken Hill to catch up with Trev and Anthony, with any luck we will get something in terms of seeing.

Looks ok to me, maybe a tad smellier than some of your other efforts...but still looks good

Nothing wrong with that Paul, way better than what the rest of us are capturing. Looking forward to Broken Hill images.

Thats a good image which still shows detail, last night was awful for me after the storms seeing was terrible. I had trouble connecting my Flea and found that the Firecard had packed up. Oh well its practice if ever the average sky gets better.

John.

Thanks guys.

Trev, lets hope next week turns it on. Though somehow I doubt that.
