National ride to work day

Just a heads up for National Ride to Work Day this Wed 12 Oct.
For cyclists, please share the road with other road users (cars, motorbikes, other cyclists and the odd pedistrian).
For other road users, please watch out for increased bike traffic, particularly during peak hours.
Thanks!
Bo

For once I will actually be riding on ride to work day

I hope it goes better than my aborted ride this morning. I got half way there and realised I didn't have my pass to get into the basement . Turned around went home, got changed and caught the train in.

Stay safe everyone, and have fun.

I'd love to ride to work but I have close to a 80K round trip with part of it on a major trucking road.

It can be scary enough on a motorbike let alone a push bike.

Just completed my fourth year of riding to work. An easy 9.5km each way, so that worked out to be around 15,000 km in four years, or approx 0.00001 AU
Can count the number of accidents I had on one hand, and only twice was my fault (slipping on wet tram tracks, Melbournites will know what I mean).
Stay safe.
Bo
