The Deep Sky Imaging Primer third edition

This book by Charles Bracken is the best book I have found for how to process images and covers photoshop, pixinsight, Affinity Photo and AstroPixelProcessor
With the main focus on pixinsight . All covered in 280 glossy pages. This is the 3rd edition published in 2022. I am learning pixinsight right now via YouTube. But this book has been a great reference and explains everything quite clearly. Definitely worth the purchase

I'm sure it's excellent, but a little steep at around $100.

I hunted around the usual spots for a copy and the price differences are staggering.

Amazon (US) $50 (USD)
Bookdepository - $100 (AUD)
Robertsons - $100 (AUD)
Readings - $130 (AUD)
Dymocks - $190 (AUD)

The author's website has the offer of a PDF-only version for USD$20. Which apparently contains a special 'extra chapter'.

I'm tempted to get the PDF version and then see about printing out the parts that are relevant to me.

I payed about $85 dollars for my copy on special through Amazon. It is one of more expensive books out there. However I have spent $50 on other reference books and only got 10% of what is on offer with this book. Sadly everything is getting expensive lately.
