First Sun

My first attempt at imaging the Sun, Friday 7th Oct.
150mm GSO Newt on EQ3 mount with Solar filter.
Any comments welcome.

Canon EOS 600D
1/1000 Sec
ISO 200
Prime focus 50mm

Thanks Derek. It took me quite a while to figure out which settings to use, but I guess that's the advantage of digital cameras, to be able to view as you go and discard the rubbishy ones.

Nice one there Rickapoody.

Did you notice the small Sunspot about 5 O'Clock close the the edge of the disc ?
