James, some folks are chatting about a catch up which may, or may not be in the vicinity of Preston. You might want to chat to some of those who are planning some informal sessions?

Hi Misku,

I have read the treads but there do not appear to be any affirmative plan.
So, I would like to get one going.
My backyard is not the best of site but at the moment, M7 Ptolemy cluster,M8 lagoon nebula is observable and will present a nice observation targets.Jupiter can also be observed abeit at a around 12 midnight.
I am not too worry about what to see as I think, just an informal gathering will stimulate an exchange of ideas.
Please send PM if interested and on it, let me know if you can come along on which weekdays or weekend.
