Jupiter Oct 3rd 2011

Hi All,

Have been away on a Lawn Bowls trip, got back Oct 3rd suffering withdrawal symptoms from missing out on my planetary imaging.

The Jetstream persists but at least it was clear, imaged in pretty ordinary seeing. Have posted 1 807nm IR image along with a link to an animation of 5 IR data sets captured at approx 30 minute intervals.

Thanks for looking.
Regards
Trevor

Thanks Troy, the IR certainly provides a better result than does the RGB in these conditions.

Thanks Jeanette, whenever I have to go away for whatever reason, it doesn't take long before I just have to get back and capture some photons regardless of the conditions.

Thanks Lester, have been away twice on different Bowls trips of late. Along with my wife & young son we field a pretty competitive triple and it is great to be able to compete as a family.
