M33 in Triangulum
Hello everyone.
Happy to see that this galaxy just fits in the FOV of the CDK and U16M.
This is a Ha(SynL)LRGB image consisting of 4.5:4.5:3.5.3.5:3.5 hours (19.5 hours).
The Ha really did have to be toned down a little. If I left it dialed all the way up it really dominated the image and just looked like I turned up the saturation 200%.

thanks for looking

Martin,
Simply sensational. I feel like putting my hands into my screen and picking up that galaxy.
Love it.

Wow this is terrific Martin.... I've seen many images of M33 with the added Ha to hi-light the HII knots, but this is just another step up and beyond.
Exquisite results. Beautiful the way the knots encapsulate and excentuate the bright blue star burst areas!!
Truly wonderful!
All the best

Magnifique!
I like the way you kept the Ha under control. Otherwise M33 shots often take on a candy look.

Wonderful - set's the bar at a whole new level.
I actually thought it was mixed up with a Magellenic cloud shot when the first few spiral arms started to download

Looks great, it needs the Ha data, in fact I think most galaxies could do with it, but so few have it as a feature, I know the M31 you did had a heap and it was a beauty too.
I'm sure others will get onto it soon.

Star detail is minute with tiny blue speckles and NGC604 has come out sensationally. Using Ha as luminance shows great skill.

Very deep and very detailed Martin. I would add "up to your standard"
The Ha gives a lot of charm to this galaxy and you blended it into beautifully!

Good morning everyone and thanks for the posts.
I may actually post the Ha image on my website, it really is in abundance in M33.
Appreciate the comments.

Awesome work Martin. Fitting into the FoV? You're kidding right? M33 is quite large in size when it comes to galaxies. The faint spiral structure is outside the FoV. Perhaps a mosaic sometime. I did a six panel on a 24" RC of this target and it still didn't complete fit. FoV aside, I enjoyed the details you've extracted with the Ha data. Nicely done.

That's very impressive! M33 is just littered with HII regions and you've brought them out in exquisite detail. well done.
It's also interesting how some of those regions seem to be just massive, even larger than the Tarantula in LMC.

It is almost translucent looking.
