That's very interesting. I've shot a couple moon shots, but my scope/ccd set-up doesn't really provide the proper scale for the moon.

Fantastic Tom.
The extra contrast with the saturated colours really helps to show up a lot of the detial otherwise hidden under the rays. There must be hundreds of secondary craters hidden in their and your image shows up rings of ripples around Tycho. It must have made the whole region bounce a bit when it hit.
