Exclamation Ebony Star or Substitute

Is there anywhere in Sydney where you can buy "Ebony Star" or a suitable substitute.
I would need a sheet of 64cm diameter.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, John.

Ebony Star is a laminate with a fine rippled surface. Kitchen bench top stuff. The fine ripple surface seems to give a better slip than a smooth surface for DOB Mount bearing surfaces.
Ergo, any Formica, laminate of a similar surface texture will suffice. Mine is actually smooth with three strips of strapping tape ( The stuff they bind round large boxes) on the oppposing surface instead and has the same dimpled effect and good bearing surface. Teflon also works if you can find some and some way to 'glue' it in place.

Kitchen manufacturers often keep scrap pieces as its quite expensive .
I don't know that the ebony colour is very popular in kitchens as the guy I bought mine had a lot of offcuts, none in ebony though.
