Angry Star

Hi All,

Here is something a little bit different. I call it the Angry Star, Zeta Puppis.

http://www.southern-astro.com.au/gallery.php?PhotoID=10

It's not what I call a real first light image as it was taken during a RGB calibration test run during the setup process of my rig. Normally I wouldn't post something like this but it came out better than I expected.

Thanks for looking.

What a lovely pic, and the colours of the other stars in the field are great too

your image is great, and shows that the latest Sbig cameras dont bloom at all
star imaging is not something most of us do, but Photoncollector (Paul) gave a great talk at the Newcastle Astro Society meeting about star imaging, he has a good number of different coloured stars here
