Items for sale/withdrawn

Can someone explain to me why, once someone lists an item for sale and has had communications regarding said item, they can, without explanation withdraw the item form sale.

Hi Chris, one possible explanation could be they havfe the article for sale on another place such as Ebay and someone has given them a better price.
It is not very nice to just withdraw it from sale without some form of communication with you via PM just as a courtesy.
cheers

Or it could just be that they decided not to sell it.

A seller can withdraw at any time. Of course it may be nice if they told everyone why, but they're under no obligation to do so.

If you were in communication with the seller then you could maybe just ask them yourself?

Other reasons

* Lack of interest

* Found new use for item

* Don't want ad anymore, so it's removed rather than fill advert space. I think that's being responsible for your self. There are dead ads still listed, so would you rather folks remove them or fill good space?
