NGC 3324 (emission neb in Carina)

Hi All

This is an interestng emission nebula in Carina that doesn't seemed to get imaged that much.

At a distance of about 12000ly and at mag6,seems to be an outlying portion of the great Eta Carina complex.

Exposures were 12 x 10 minutes shot through a ZS 110 with an SXV-H9C.

Great image Louie, it gives the impression of a suspended bubble, the colours are great, love the reds and purple hues.

Very nice picture, as you say, You dont see many pictures taken of this object, all the years ive been doing astrophotography and the hunderds of pictures ive taken of the Carina Nebula ive never imaged this object, must give it a go, Nice image, sharp focus, great colour, thanks for posting.

I havn`t seen many images of this target either but I actually imaged this the other night as well as eta-carina and a wideangle shot..

That's a very nice object and image. Nice and sharp. I don't recall ever seeing an image of it before.

Tony,there wasn't much interest in It so I decided to keep It for now mate and keep hunting for a higher res instrument to use for galaxy shots.
