That was quick ving. It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the last Library Week. I guess that mean more champers on the balcony I know you librarians. I spent quite abit of time with the librarians at the City Art Intitute (don't know what it's called now) on Albion Ave back in the mid 80's. Any excuse for a celebration. Isn't that right ving Does Cheryl know what week it is

I like your airguitar quote David. It reminds me of last week when I cut down a palm tree that was starting to lean on the house. I had to cut it down in sections and while it was lying in a neat heap out back my son said that we should take a photo and sell it on ebay as a palm tree kit. It may have been a good idea afterall.

I am glad that it is library week! What a great thing to have a "week" for!

Long live librarys and the folks that populate them (librarians)!

It was my local library (and librarian) that offered me an opportunity to access books and ideas that I otherwise could never have been exposed to or imagined...I spent many a day riding my bike (really) back and forth to the library...it was my own special sanctuary. With 4 brothers and not much money growing up on a farm, our local lending library (established with a Carnegie Grant...he was one of the first philanthropic robber barrons of early industrial USA who gave some of his money to small towns across the US to establish libraries to help people "improve" themselves)...it was a tremendous gift and asset to our community and I often felt ole Dale Carnegie gave it to me personally when I was a kid...

Not to be too goofy about this but, it did change my life...any subject in the world was at my finger tips...I read whole sections of the place and the librarian would special order in new books from the big "county" library just for me...

Wow...Happy Library Week
