I saw this just before on the Bintel website too. I dunno... wouldn't it be better to invest an extra $350 on an EQ6?

If I was interested in guided photography and my scope was no bigger than about 8" definately (10" for visual). Unfortunatly viewing with a newt on an eq can be quite literally a pain in the neck. The eyepiece can end up in some really twisted postions. On a platform though, the position of the eyepiece doesn't change and makes viewing much more of a pleasure. Plus you can carry a bigger scope.

Aperture fever is a great thing until you try to put it on an eq mount

Didn't think of that Don't have to worry about it with a refractor or SCT.
