Startrails - Geelong

In an hour long gap in the clouds on the weekend I snapped a series of southern sky images with my recently purchased 50mm lens.

I do love a startrail but I think I'll stop down the ISO next time to eliminate a few of the fainter stars.

Hopefully this weekend's clear so I can pratice drift aligning with the aim of really getting back into some imaging

cheers

niko

That's beautiful! Love the colours and the foreground detail.
