Mokoroa Falls

I enjoy photographing waterfalls but I haven't had much time to practise yet. Fortunately there are plenty of waterfalls around Auckland and today I managed to get a decent shot of Mokoroa Falls in the Goldie Bush area west of Auckland. The weather had been dry for a while before I took this image so the water level was quite low, but the falls were still very scenic.
I plan to take some more images here once the flow is stronger.

Two different versions:

Taken with Canon S5IS, ISO 80.

I hope you like it. Comment and critique is welcome.

Regards,
Rolf

Stunning shot Rolf.
I have the S3IS, and can't fault it either. You get what you pay for with an advanced compact.

Thanks JJJ, I like the S5IS but I can certainly see that the optics leave a bit to be desired - sometimes chromatic aberration is quite prominent at the edge of the field. I'm happy with it though, it suits my needs for terrestrial imaging so far
