Saturn & Jupiter Aug 30th

Hi All,

Imaged Saturn just after Sunset last night in quite reasonable seeing for the alt. Have attached 1 RGB & 1 807nm IR image. The storm is still active, just not in this particular region although the band of dredged up material that encircles the planet is visible. Have also attached animations of both data sets although there is not much to see in them.

Imaged Jupiter this morning in pretty ordinary conditions, only have a couple of 807nm IR images worth keeping.

Thanks for looking.
Regards
Trevor

I got up to high cloud this morning. Despite predictions of clear skies it was just too thick, so I headed back to bed.

Nice views Trevor, the IR filter has resolved some nice detail on Jupiter through the terbulance. Nice Saturn images too for so late in its season. Thanks for the views.

Saturn is well caught Trevor, and quite a bit of detail on Jupiter.
