I tried to count the stars but gave up, that is an amazing shot. You should be proud of that effort!

Hi David,

Thanks for the compliment.

Don't bother counting the stars for there are far too many. Instead, take a few steps back away from your monitor and take the image in. It has so much more depth that way.

Humayun

Wow!

Now I'm going to admit to feeling jealous - seems like only a week or two ago you were putting in your first images and I was saying get the piggyback going - now look at your results. You should be very, very pleased. They can go in there with Barnards work on the dark nebulae!

And you have worked out how to use IRIS! Bu$$er, I 've struggled with it on and off for a year!

Great work, great presentation - now I've got some catching up to do....

Hi JohnH,

Consider yourself as one of my inspirations!

You flatter me so.

I can't wait to head out to dark skies again, with some 2 hours for polar alignment and focusing; to then go crazy on some beautiful open clusters.

Kindest regards,
Humayun
