Saturn storm August 20th 2011

Hi All,

Was again able to get some data last night just after Sunset. Have 2 RGB & 3 807nm IR data sets along with animations.

Thanks for looking.

Regards
Trevor

Very nice images Trevor, thanks for the views.

I almost did a run on Saturn lastnight, but the DSO pull was too great.

All the best.

Thanks Paul, the last update I had from Georg, a couple of weeks ago, was that there still remained isolated regions of SED's activity. Leigh Fletcher contacted me today, he is still monitoring the stratospheric temps, apparently there is still something moving westward above the original storm site so it is still important to try for data with enough res to resolve the storm structure, not to sure how much longer this will be possible.
