Apprentice Pranks; Help me welcome my new apprentice.

Hi all,

As i mentioned in a couple of threads, i'm a Butcher by trade. Ive just hired a new victim first year apprentice , and need some help picking on him welcoming him to the trade

So far, i've sent him to the shop down the street with a bucket to borrow some fridge gas, sent him to the local Bunning's to get a 'Long weight (i.e long wait).. he was gone for 2 hours on that one..., as well as the ever-popular faking a severed finger.

I'm just about out of ideas, so i need your help...

Were you ever the victim of a similar prank, or inflicted one on a newbie of your own??

Any ideas welcome

Davin

Have you ever seen The League of Gentlemen? You could organise an elaborate prank by selling the "special stuff" a la Hillary the butcher.

One or two little pranks is ok, but I'd urge you not to push it too far. There's a thin line between pranks and abuse.

Hear hear Tony.

But Dad did get me a couple of times. Sent me down the hardware for a tin of stripped paint then got up me for shaking the tin. He wanted the stripes vertical not horizontal. And then one day he sent me out to the truck for the wheel barrow to help him shift a hole.

Hello, can I speak to Mr Lion ??

Hi Davin,

When he comes back after another prank, tell him that someone called for him while he was away and ask him to call (this is best done on a note):

Mr Lyon 9969-2777 (the number is for Taronga Park Zoo).

Best,

Les D

P.S another good errand is to go to the hardware for a 1/2 box of emery sparks.

Great ones in the kitchen are
*getting them to seperate the 100s and 1000s, tell them you need the red, white and blue ones for a Bastile day cake. ( no one remembers when Bastile day is)
*got the apprentice to wash the microwave filter for the head chef. 'just use warm soapy water but be careful because they are expensive and if you break it yopu will pay for a new one.' (gave him a gelatin sheet)
*Fill some sausage skins with fat and a little red colour, get him to cook them for the boss.
Let me know when you need more, been doing this for a while.

cruel I say....cruel

When I first started working at Sci-Fleet Toyota, in spare parts, they tried their hardest to get me to ring up the other branch, and order in some spark plugs to suit a Hino diesel.

Hi Davin,

Get someone to call your phone, have the appy answer.

The conversation goes: (After Appy says xxxx butcher, Appy speaking.)

"Oh what a shame. If you had answered 2SM is my station you would have won $2000."
Watch his face drop.

Then a short while later get him to answer the phone again.
He may say "2SM is my station."
Its worked before.

Cheers
