Demanovska cave of Freedom, Slovakia

Hi all,

While in Europe recently we visited the Demanovska valley in Slovakia, which has many limestone caves. We spent about an hour in the "Cave of Freedom", which is the largest in the area. I didn't have a tripod with me on this trip, so I tried some hand-held images using high iso (1600 or 3200) and the 4-stop image stabiliser in my 15-85mm lens. Here are a few of the better shots. I'm very impressed with the IS in this lens!

Thanks for looking.

Cheers,
Stephen

Very cool. There are a lot of caves in the area and some ice cave in Dobsinska. Did you manage to go around?

Thanks Marc. This was just up the road from the ice cave, but we only had time to visit one, and this one was recommended.

Cheers,
Stephen
