Tail of Scorpio and M7

ok, had a bit of a go with my little compact camera at some deep sky.

First attempt.

Canon Ixus 70 - Iso800 - 68 x 10 seconds exposures.

I'll post my before processing and after as about as good as i can get it with my limited knowledge Pictures.

Any advice would be great.

Good stuff Josh! Pleasing result for a point and shoot camera. The FoV is huge. On the right path with the finer points such as stacking. You may choose to drop the green channel using curves. This will address the typical colour of light pollution glow and get a richer coloured image letting the golden hues of the MilkyWay to appear. A few other objects in the field too. Keep at it and well done.

Good shot Josh.

It's good to see someone experimenting.
