SOLDGrey Tube Celestron C-8 OTA
This current style OTA features the rubberized focuser, better feel over the metal focus control knob of the older Black and Orange tubes of the past.
No dents or signs or rough handling and the optics are clean, no scratches or fungus. HOWEVER there is a minor fault, there is a small chip on the edge of the mirror; someone has apparently put a longer than required screw into the bottom where the dovetail attaches and this has caused a chip. Have a look at the photos, the red arrow points it out, it’s been coated with matt black paint so no internal reflections will affect optical performance.
In reality this small area does not affect the image quality at all, if you are the pedantic type it’s not for you.
