Seriously Red!

Hi,

I was taking a stroll through Centaurus last night when I came across Hip 69655. This is the reddest star I have ever seen in 40 years of looking! Take a look for yourselves:

RA. 14h 16min 09 sec, Dec. -53deg 33min 48 sec in Centaurus.

Mag= 6.4. 980 Ly. Spectral type = K3III.
