Lagoon in H-Alpha

My first big attempt at shooting in H-Alpha

60 lights x 180sec@1600iso using an Astonomiks 12nm H-Alpha clip filter
45 darks x 180sec@1600iso
Captured and stacked in nebulosity2. Post processing all done in Photoshop CS5.
File size: Stacked and processed 70mb, submitted size reduced to 1.07mb
Camera: modified Canon 500d
Scope: Skywatcher 80ed with Hotech field flattener.
Mount: Sywatcher EQ6 pro
Location: Allans Flat, Nth East Victoria
Not concerned about the noise too much, it dissapears when you make a print for the photo album. Slight problems with coma and correct camera to scope plane, but then again it's not an expensive scope. Just have to work with what i have until i win the Lottery.

Cheers for now
Carl
