Another Astrofest M16

Obviously a popular target. This is my first attempt to process in PixInsight. 23x5 mins QHY8/10" Newt.

Still plenty to learn so comments welcome.

Great shot Pete, lots of detail and it really pops.

Looks like you are getting the hang of Pixinsight

Peter, I've always found this a difficult object to process. I think you've done really well, plenty of detail and the colors look spot on. Well done.

Sure is popular Peter. I like what you've put together here. Well done. The red saturation really draws attention and adds vibrance. Be careful you don't over do it however. Highlight information in the red channel is quite strong and is perhaps muting some of O and B spectral stars. Seeing some of those blue stars coming through would provide an even more aesthetic image.

Hey mate, wondering when we were going to see some from you. Looks a bit clipped at the dark end? Could be this monitor.
